Charles W. Conn Servant Leadership Award

Established in 2003 and first awarded in 2004, the Charles W. Conn Servant Leadership Award recognizes two rising seniors at Lee University who have shown exemplary dedication to service and outstanding leadership on the campus. Students who receive the award also receive a scholarship and a chance to donate money to a charity of their choice. Since 2009, a Lee faculty member has also received the award based on his or her demonstrated excellence in service and leadership. The annual award highlights the university's efforts to emphasize serving others and is named in honor of the late President Emeritus Charles W. Conn, who served as President of Lee from 1970 to 1982.
