Excellence in Scholarship Award
Lee University has three faculty awards, each given annually in recognition of outstanding faculty: Excellence in Teaching, Excellence in Scholarship, and Excellence in Advising.
The Excellence in Scholarship Award was established in 1986 and recognizes one faculty member each year based on his or her significant contribution in scholarly research and/or publication.
The recipient is nominated by faculty colleagues and selected by the Faculty Scholarship and Research Committee. The recipient of the award is recognized formally at Spring Commencement and is given a stipend.
