Murray, Danny Ray

Danny Murray devoted over 40 years to Lee University as an educator, musician, and mentor. As the founder and director of Voices of Lee since 1994, he has led the group to national acclaim. His passion for music and student development has contributed significantly to the university’s growth, helping increase enrollment from 1,200 to 5,000 students. Murray also played a vital role in Lee’s administrative leadership, contributing to the Office of Institutional Advancement. He was honored as the 2019 Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. In 2022, the university named its recording studio in his honor, recognizing Murray’s lifelong commitment to excellence, leadership, and inspiring generations of students to achieve their full potential.
