Zeno C. Tharp Award
The Zeno C. Tharp Award was established in 1955 and named in honor of the sixth president of Lee, who served 1935-1944. The award is given to the graduate who shows the greatest promise of making a significant contribution to the life of the Church.
Throughout its history, the Lee University faculty has established only three awards for graduating seniors which are voted on by the entire university faculty: F. J. Lee Award, Zeno C. Tharp Award, and the Charles Paul Conn Award. These awards are given each year at spring graduation.
